The
TAGALOG (Filipino) language:
Tagalog
is one of the major languages of the Republic of the Philippines.
It is the most spoken Philippine language in terms of the number
of speakers. Tagalog (Filipino) has been influenced principally
in vocabulary by the languages with which they have come in contact:
Sanskrit, Arabic, Chinese, English and Spanish. Some of the grammatical
features of the Philippine languages are the complex system of affixes,
especially of verbal affixes, which denote a special relationship
between the verb and a particular noun phrase in the sentence often
referred to by Philippine linguists as "topic" or "subject."
This relationship as actor, goal or referent in the sentence is
usually marked by an affix in the verb. There are other prominent
features of the language such as the use of markers in a sentence,
the reduplication of a syllable in a word and the use of particles
between words and phrases. |

The
Pimsleur Method:
With
Pimsleur language courses, you will quickly learn to speak Dutch
and understand it as well. You're not just learning "phrases"
with the Pimsleur method, you're acquiring essential, conversational
language skills! You'll be thrilled to discover you can hold real
conversations in your new language when you have finished the course.
Dr. Pimsleur devoted his life to language
teaching and was one of the worlds leading experts in applied
linguistics. After years of research and development, including
field studies of spoken language training with adults, Dr. Pimsleur
created a new method for selfinstruction in spoken languages
that is based on the way the human brain takes in language as speech.
Of the several unique features of the Method, two key principles:
the Principle of Anticipation
and a scientific principle of memory that he called Graduated
Interval Recall This is the only language teaching program which
incorporates these essential principles to provide you with the
most easytodo, amazingly rapid, and highly costeffective
learning method available.
